20.5.2011                                                                                                                                   The SD-1 will be exhibited at AviationExpo Europe 2011 in Bitburg, Germany on the stand of our german dealer UL-GmbH (stand 57). 26.4.2011                                                                                                                                    We proudly announce that Mr. Aldo Cattano has became our agent for Italy. As aerospace engineer (ex Flysynthesis) and consultant for composite industry is Aldo right person for promotion of SD-1 on italian market. The new web site was started.

29.3.2011                                                                                                                                   First serial RTF plane was delivered to our german dealer. It has XL version cabine hood and is powered by Verner JCV-360 (35 HP) 4stroke engine. The machine will serve for flight test part of german UL certification.

As experienced long term LAA member he will help to recieve necessary approval and will be helpfull to potential builders. Colin started web site with forum.

4.2.2011                                                                                                                                     Our dealer for South Korea company Spacek Korea finished last month first SD-1 for local customer. The airplane in TG vesion is powered by B&S Vanguard engine. 

2.2.2011                                                                                                                                 Flutter vibration tests necessary for german LTF-UL certification are performed in these days on Aerospace faculty of CVUT (Technical university) in Prague.

Everything passed OK.  Short video is here.

9.7.2010                                                                                                                                     The load tests of SD-1 airframe necessary for czech/german UL type certification were succesfully performed in the presence of czech LAA examinator Mr. Vychopen. 30.4.2010                                                                                                                                    We informed on April 3rd about long range version of SD-1. The owner used this ability of his plane on April 23rd and followed borders of Czech republic in single flight in duration of 10 h 44 min. Overall distance was 1264 km (788 miles) in average speed of 118 km/h (73 mph). The average consumption was 3,6 l/h (0,8 gph). The 7 l of gasoline left in the tank. The take off weight was 230 kgs (511 lbs).

His company SPACEK KOREA offers whole range of our kits and also RTF planes in the new SSDR (single seater deregulated) category for up to 115 kg empty weight ultralight aircrafts. You can meet him with first korean SD-1 on exhibition 2010 G-GLOBAL AVIATION held in period April 30.-May 5. in Ansan.

3.4.2010                                                                                                                                    Flying season in Europe started. Some builders work intensively on their planes, some bring another solutions. Prolific builder Mr. Tinka prepared his SD-1 for long range flights and as training flight spent today 7 hours above Czech republic cruising on distance of 805 km at average consumption of 3,7 l/h. He did not need to use auxiliary tanks today but next time... More on his improvements here.

1.9.2009                                                                                                                       We thank all visitors of the SPACEK's stand at the Salon ULM de  Blois for their interest and enthusiasm for the SD-1 Minisport.  We want to offer them an ultralight accessible and efficient, with the appropriate kit for each potential builder. There are more types of SD-1 kits in our offer and also finished airplanes for reasonable price.   

We filmed presentation video which should satisfy long time requirement of SD-1 enthusiasts and potential builders. 

We offer new service-builder assistance for builders of SD-1 but also bigger wood and composite planes of experimental category. 

Bigger capacity of our composite facility and experienced staff allows us to offer part of it for all who could be interested.
